[Translation] Clinochlore – Doujin Album “a tale”

1

This album was amazing. The vocals was good enough (a little flat at times, but still fine), the arrangements were fitting, the composition was superb, and the storyline simply stunning. Everyone agreed that it was an amazing album, and I saw it being spread practically everywhere… but I was disappointed to find that no one actually made a translation of it. It has been about a year since this was released, and the lyrics are so simple and straightforward that I don’t think translating it would take a long time.

And so… I’ve done it! Using my handy e-dictionary and pathetic knowledge of the Japanese language, I made a translation which (I’m pretty sure) is accurate enough. Of course, I’ve re-worded some phrases and lines so that it’ll sound better in English, but even that attempt is obviously failing at some parts.

The album comes with four vocal tracks (titled simply as “Acts”, like in a play) and three instrumental tracks (titled as “Interludes”). Each of them are beautiful, and hopefully I can upload them onto YouTube someday.

Act 1
There was a certain planet in the vast universe,
whose life was at its end
But one day
a bud that had sprouted out, suddenly
exceeded the backs of the humans it had been chasing*
(*Simply put, it grew a lot taller than humans)

It was a miraculous sight
But the humans agreed in one voice that it was the miracle of the planet

The plants that had grown
at a speed faster than the moment of destruction
did not know how to stop growing
and eventually began to consume the roads

And then the humans agreed:
“It’s the wrath of the planet”

From then on a few hundred years passed
The planet began to be concealed by oceans and forests
Humans were driven out from where they lived
Their high-rise buildings had ivy creeping all over
Trees expanded to destroy the asphalt
and rivers invaded the streets
Thus, the town that had already become inhabitable
ceased to exist

However, even at the face of such chaos,
humans were too stubborn to die
They adapted to this new environment
and continued to live on

Interlude I

Act 2

One day a tiny meteorite fell into my house
It was red and glowing, and was shaped like a ring

It was so beautiful I was enchanted
It seemed like the kind of magical stone one would find in fairy tales

I gave it to my talented childhood friend,
and we made a pair of similar necklaces

“This is the one and only pair in this world.
I gave you one, so make sure you don’t lose it!”

“Well, it’s pretty and all, and I like it,
but are you sure it’s okay for us to carry this?”

“I was the one who found it so it’s okay!
But anyway, this meteorite… Wouldn’t it be nice if it had some strange powers?”

“That’ll be fun.
What power do you think would cool?”

“Well, hmm…
How about, if the two of us always carried it with us, it will let us be together forever…”

“Oh hey, I’ve got mail. I wonder who sent it…”

“Hey! Listen when someone’s talking…!”

Both of us were smiling together
I thought that it would be nice if such days could go on forever

Interlude II

Act 3
The rumour about a fallen meteorite
was quickly
spread throughout the town
It seemed as though there was no one unaware of it

They had this strange religious head, and he promptly announced,
“This must be a divine revelation from the heavens.
We have finally found our saviour: the Witch!”

The girl was raised and worshiped as the “Red Witch”
Her freedom stolen from her,
(Please continue to live)
she was made to wear beautiful clothes
(my share as well)
and sit upon a splendid altar
(We want to smile as we bade farewell but we’ll still end up crying, won’t we?)

And then she was killed as an offering
(I’m sorry… I love you)

Interlude III

Act 4
Of course the world wouldn’t change no matter the amount of killings humans do
But a sudden abnormal weather
dried up a portion of the plants that were making life difficult for the humans
That’s right, it was almost as if…

The boy had lost his will to live on in despair
All he wanted was a memento of the girl; for that he trespassed into the facility

Luckily the boy found the red necklace the girl wore
His venture had been a success
He was so close to getting out of the facility, however,
when he found himself captured

They hit and kicked him until he couldn’t breathe,
but if they let him be then they’ll surely die
And so the religious head thought about it
and announced, “Let’s use him as an experiment for that machine”

And thus, the boy vanished from the world

The boy was still alive as his body lied on the cold hard ground
He knew for certain that he was about to die, and with his dying breath made a prayer

“Please, somehow, get rid of all these worthless humans”

When the boy gave his last breath, the two necklaces fell
As they glowed, all the trees that had grew without warning
began to twist together, using them as their centre
Thus the plants began to conceal the world

“Kagami no Mahou” English Subbed!

Well, I just got contacted by the creators on YouTube, and… they requested that I removed the video. As a big fan who respect them, it was a request I couldn’t ignore.

But surely there would be someone out there who still wishes to see the lyrics, so I’m posting the full thing here. Enjoy! :3

P.S.: If you’re looking for the song, you can find it on the full album. Like I said, the album can be easily found on the internet already, but if you really can’t, just head over to mikudb for the download link. There, I’ve helped you already!

ENGLISH

I shall grant anything that you wish for
So won’t you chant for me from the other side of this mirror?
Tonight, “everything is the magic of opposites”
After all, I’m a magician meant just for you

In a dark room of a locked tower,
the only thing that resounded was my heartbeat
Shunned in contempt and hated out of fear
That is me, a prince loved by misfortune

During a storm, an uninvited guest arrived
It was a young man who smiled as he held a mirror in his hands
“Who’s the cause of your misfortune?
Take a look into this magic mirror and see it for yourself”

Reflected in the mirror was a “fortunate girl”
My bewildered heart began to shake in doubt
“”But… what if it’s the truth?””
Had the entirety of “my happiness”
been stolen away by that girl?

My heart fell, dyed by hate
“Everything is opposite” on the other side of the mirror
It switched the balance scales of fate
I came to forget everything
so that my “blessings” could be carried out

In a bright room of a tower which the sunlight shone upon,
resounding through it were the voices of a crowd of people
Adored in respect and revered out of love
That is me, a prince loved by fortune

During an awfully sunny afternoon, an uninvited guest arrived
It was a young man who smiled as he held a mirror in his hands
“Who’s the reason for your happiness?
Take a look into this magic mirror and see it for yourself”

Reflected in the mirror was an “unfortunate girl”
Why does your smile seem to be gouging out my heart?
“”But… what if it’s the truth?””
Had the entirety of “your happiness”
been stolen away by me on that fateful day?

My heart shook, dyed by grief
“Everything is opposite” on the other side of the mirror
The balance scales of fate were destroyed,
reduced to fragments
by these hands of mine

My past which I should have abandoned… those “memories of sin”
Why have they returned now, tormenting me so?
I had no other choice except to hate
So why is my heart hurting so much right now…?

Reflected in the mirror are the “opposite” us
Is the amount of tears you shed the same as my laughter?
If “my happiness” leads to your curse,
just what should I do to save you…?
JUST WHAT SHOULD I DO TO SAVE YOU…?

“That’s right… I shall…

grant anything that you wish for”
So won’t you chant for me from the other side of this mirror?
Tonight, “everything is the magic of opposites”
After all, I’m a magician meant just for you

I have already granted everything you ever wished for?
Then the magic of the mirror will end here
The palm of your fading hand met with mine
“I guess this is farewell,” I said as I laughed
Will you be crying on the other side of this mirror?
It sure would be nice
if I could see you again someday

I did this video days ago, but I figured having a little more publicity on a WordPress blog wouldn’t be too bad. It’s difficult to find a video on YouTube even when you’re looking for it. I’m not sure why, but I guess that their search engine sucks. =/

English lyrics are here on my lyrics collection site.

And also, if you’re looking for the song, I think you can find it more easily now that it’s been more than ten days since the EndlessroLL album’s release. I searched high and low on the day that the album was out, and was disappointed when I came up empty. Well, the good thing was that I managed to get my hands on Kagami no Mahou and translate it. 🙂

It’s strange that nobody uploaded the song after so long. I guess they were being respectful and not sharing a property belonging to Hitoshizuku-P and yama△… But I still went to share it on Youtube anyway. What does that make me? o___o”

VOCALOID Synchronicity series Part 3 is FINALLY OUT!

Yes! Finally! After THREE LONG YEARS, Hitoshizuku-P and Yama-delta have finally decided to release it! I’m not sure how many know this, but since I don’t see this all over the internet yet, it must be spread!

This is the video to their first major debut album, containing all of their most popular works and series, including, yes, THE FINALE OF SYNCHRONICITY!

The title of the song, as seen in the track list, is the same as the series’ full name:

Track #17 – Synchronicity ~Chapter 3: Requiem of the Circulating World~

And from the previews heard at 0:32 and 7:00 of the song, it doesn’t sound bad at all! The chorus is blending the two of their voices together nicely, though it makes it hard to catch the lyrics for some pre-translations. >:

EDIT: But I’ve done it! Woots! Here’s what I heard (along with the translations)

Len:
Hajimaru
Aa subete wo ubaware
Inochi no nikushimi subete wo kasanete to
Ai no nigerarenai sadame wo
Subete ima tokihanatsu

[And so it begins:
Ah, stealing everything away
while making everything, even the hatred of life, pile up together
This is the fate that love cannot escape from
and shall now reveal everything]

Rin:
“Mirai mo de kaware” to
Watashi ni ?? kureru
Mirai no sadame wo
Yami wo ima tokihanatsu

[“Even the future will be changed,”
those were the words given to me
The fate of the future
will now release the darkness]

LOL, this was all WRONG! Translations of the ACTUAL lyrics are up on my lyrics site! Go check it out!!

But will it really be worth the wait? Three years now, the site went inactive since the end of 2009, there was barely any updates at all, no mention of the project except to clear up misunderstandings that the project was dropped.

The fact that they are taking this long just to make a song while they had released many other more complex and amazing songs with MVs such as the Bad End Night series, but never released this until now… It’s a little queer IMO. I’m sure there would be an MV with this final song (the songs barely make much sense by themselves, it you’ve realised), and I hope that this whole stalling and anticipation growing in my heart would not backfire on me.

gam2

If you didn’t know the plot of Synchronicity, this is a very good chance for you to go check it out. There are three parts to it, and the first two were released three years prior. Just search YouTube and you will uncover a lot of it.

hikaritokage2

Meanwhile, accompanied with the songs are also side stories that were put up on the official website of the series, all written by the original creators of this series (NOT Hitoshizuku-P or Yama-delta; they were merely the song producers). Some of those were translated by a kind soul and put up here on this clean little blog. It’s a nice eye-opener, and it really gives you a number of surprising information that can never by conveyed using the song and videos in the series.

[Translation] Shining Blade Opening Theme – “Lorelei no Uta” – Lia

I’m thinking if I should make a new lyrics collection site. The one I have on FC2 isn’t exactly popular or easy to find, and I really like it if my translations can help people understand more about a song they like. ><

This time, it is Lia’s newest single! It’s a really beautiful song, and equally epic! It’s sad that the opening video itself isn’t as amazing as the song. The animation wasn’t as good as I would have liked it (unconsciously I was comparing it to Tales of Xillia 2’s OP, but why not? Both games were released this year), and the quality of action scenes had went down significantly since the era of Shining Tears.

I’ve read up a bit about what Lorelei is, and it happens to be a rock somewhere in Germany. But I’m suspecting that the Lorelei in this title is supposed to be the water spirits/nymphs/mermaids that were being associated with the rock. Unless you’re telling me that Lorelei is the name of a character in the game itself; now that is a totally different thing.

Also, I don’t think anyone would notice this unless they are a follower of the series, but in the second verse of this song, there are certain words in quotation marks. Those words are “Tears“, “Wind” and “Hearts“. It wasn’t as obvious in Japanese, but once I got them translated, it became so obvious that I almost fell off my seat from how cliche it all seemed. Fanservice, perhaps? But, well, to those of you who haven’t figured it out yet, those words actually refer to the previous games in the Shining series: Shining Tears, Shining Wind, and Shining Hearts. The first two had an anime some years back, so some of you may recognise them.

Lorelei’s Song

The silence has now began to move, and even courage is transformed into history
Yet let my voice, which is played through the heavens like a song, become a sword

Please, somehow, I want you to believe in this sky of despair
In your heart now blooms a torch that would lead us to tomorrow
Please, feel free to open your ears and close your eyes
We can hear the purified song ringing strongly

Even if we are wandering amidst a darkness deeper than black,
this melody would slash it apart and lead us towards the light of hope

Flap your wings… Please let this song transform into our wings
The path that you’re facing was supposed to continue into a myth
It’s now resounding… Please be lost no more
Firmly hold up your desired blade and sail
towards your future

Your “tears” would eventually transform into a rainbow,
and its glow would become the treasured jewel leading to your determination
The “wind” blows, sweeping away agony into the far distance
Finally our “hearts” would be linked, joined together as one…

Together, you and I will spin an eternal melody,
so warm and so much deeper than love

Let its glow shine… Please let this song transform into stars
and embrace you so gently, just like the twinkling of the Milky Way
I’ll put down this oath… Never shall I shed another tear
Once again I shall play a song of my overflowing feelings,
and sing of a miracle

Flap your wings… Please let this song transform into our wings
The path that you’re facing was supposed to continue into a legend
It’s now resounding… Please be lost no more
Firmly hold up your desired blade and sail
towards your future

Kagerou Project gets an anime?!

Yeap, couldn’t believe it either. And to think it was just last year that I got hooked onto the series after seeing the animated MV of Kagerou Days, and subbed it for YouTube.

And now, barely a year after, we get a bunch of new songs from Jin, a novel adaption, a manga that came out recently, and now an anime! o__o

“Announcement!! Anime project production as begun! Do look forward to it!!”

Honestly, I can’t wait for it… But I won’t get my hopes up until I see what studio is doing it. If it’s DEEN or J.C.Staff, I’ll rage.

Get me SHAFT, P.A.Works or even White Fox to do this. KyoAni would be the best, but that’s highly unlikely. >:

Meanwhile, I’ve read the first two chapters of the manga, and DAMN was it an awesome ride!! 8DD

It appears that the entire chapters are being released on Pixiv, but you need an account to read it. And if you don’t know Japanese, then it’s basically just graphics and foreign letters for you. =/

I’ve read the ones on Pixiv, but I only got the gist of it until I read the Chinese scans on dm5 (manga always get released in Chinese first =_=). If I have time now I would actually scanlate it into English privately, but since I DON’T have time, I can’t do that. =/
Well, anyway, I’m doing the translations for Akagami no Shirayukihime on MangaFox for the folks there from Chinese to English. Maybe I would do that for this if no one has done it already.

For anyone who’s curious, I’ll write up the basic synopsis for the first two chapters here. Since the scanlators haven’t done the third one yet (even though it’s supposed to be out already), and it’s not yet on Pixiv either, I can’t talk about it. =/

Chapter 1: Artificial Enemy

Story begins on 15th August [that’s where the accident in Kagerou Days happen! *gasp*].

We are introduced into the life of a young man, who sits in front of the computer. The computer hangs, and he mutters in anxiety that he would die if the computer crashes. Luckily, the computer didn’t, and he continues his work on a music composition. (The TV was on, mentioning about a pop star who is most likely Momo) He constantly remarks about a “brat” and says that he’s glad she’s not there today. Meanwhile, he completes his composition and listens back to it, proclaiming to himself that it would sell.

But then, suddenly, a loud alarm/siren erupts from his computer, and his mother comes rushing into his room, exclaiming that he should learn to turn down his stuff and not trouble the neighbours. It is here that we find out that his name is “Shintaro”. Shintaro returns to his com, greeted by a girl in it whom he refers to as “Ene” (the brat he mentioned earlier).

“Hahaha~ Are you alright, Master?”

Ene was a program he gained a year ago by clicking a strange mail, and since then, the girl has enjoyed trolling him by changing the names of his files and folders, and threatening to upload his secrets onto the net if he guesses the folders wrong. It was also mentioned that Shintaro became a hikkikomori (a shut-in) two years prior for unspecified reasons [but we fans would know that it was due to the girl from Toumei Answer].

Once again, Ene trolls Shintaro, threatening to close the window his music composition was in (which he hasn’t yet saved). In panic Shintaro splashes water all over the keyboard and the mouse.

Shintaro proclaims again that he might die if they cease to work. The keyboard ends up only able to type T, R and O. Ene reminds Shintaro to check the mouse, and Shintaro tries it in panic, to find that only the right click can be used. He was eventually convinced to go out to buy a new computer (because ordering online and getting a delivery is impossible due to that day being the Obon festival, and would only be possible two days later) when he weighted being away from a computer for two days (which would result in his “death”), or going out for the first time to get a computer. Ene follows him by transferring to his phone.

The heat of summer was unbearable, and Shintaro comments about how the streets seemed to have changed, and Ene explains that the city was progressing during those two years he was being a shut-in. They pass by a playground/park, where they witness kids playing; Shintaro comments that kids are able to play in any situation, despite the heat. Ene exclaims that he shouldn’t get carried away or he would get a heatstroke and faint.

They arrive at a gigantic shopping centre, where Shintaro and Ene witness a Ferris wheel on the roof. Ene wants to go to the theme park there to take a look but Shintaro refuses, saying that she was just a mere program and can’t ride on the rides there. Ene goes on a tantrum and disappears, leaving Shintaro to enter the shopping centre alone; he then bumps into a beautiful lady who worked there. His lack of social skills is apparent, and he finds it difficult to even ask for directions to the electronics store. When he does manage, he becomes so proud of himself that he enthusiastically reports it to Ene, who still doesn’t respond to him.

And that was when he bumps into another girl; this time, a hooded young lady with a cold stare that seemed to look at him as if he was a non-living thing. Shintaro, due to his poor social skills, becomes intimidated immediately, and even thought that he would be killed by her. However, the girl merely utters an apology, and disappears shortly after. Her identity was not mentioned [but fans would recognise her as Kido, the leader of the Blindfold Gang].

Shintaro still finds it difficult to recover, and Ene appears again to ask if he was okay (in a rather tsundere way ._.). Shintaro decides to cheer her up as he knows that making her unhappy would give him tons of trouble, and promises to bring her to the theme park on the roof once they were done with shopping. Ene cheers up instantly (Shintaro realises that she wanted to see the outside worlds as well, much like a human despite being a program), and asks random questions like if Shintaro wanted to buy clothes or anything. Shintaro remarks in his mind that he has nothing to lose with doing more stuff during this shopping trip, since it was going to be his first and last venture out.

And then an explosion occurs right behind him. Shocked, Shintaro turns around just in time to see a group of terrorists entering the building with guns.

“‘This is definitely the first and last time something like that would happen in my life.’
That thought was what crossed my mind at that very moment………”

Chapter 1 ends there with a cliffhanger.

Chapter 2: Artificial Enemy 2

Everyone in the shopping centre panics from the entrance of the terrorists, and the shutters around them closes one by one, trapping everyone inside the building. Ene, being unable to see anything, asks Shintaro if everything was alright. Shintaro gets caught by one of the terrorists before he could even say anything, and gets his hands bounded by sticky tape, like everyone else caught in the building.

The terrorists contact the police force, asking for ransom in 30 minutes time, with everyone in the building as hostages. Shintaro realises the danger he is in and panics, eventually being comforted by Ene (she heard the situation through the earphones, it seems =/). Shintaro finally calms down and surveys his surroundings, formed a plan in his head but subsequently denied it, seeing it as unattainable.

Suddenly, the head of the terrorists seemed to have got hit upon his head by something unseen, and he accuses a subordinate beside him for hitting him. Everyone who witnessed it all agreed that no one had hit him at all. A hooded boy [fans already know him; he’s named Kano] seated beside Shintaro bursts out laughing despite their dangerous situation.

Shintaro asks him just what was so funny, and the boy replies that there are tons of funny things, “For example, just now you had an interesting ‘gaze’, like there’s something you want to do~… but don’t have the chance to~… That’s just the kind of feeling you’re giving me.”

“H-how would you know what I’m thinking………?”

The boy proclaims that it seemed as though Shintaro knew something, most probably a plan. Shintaro utters that he only required 30 seconds to accomplish it, if only his hands weren’t bounded. When asked about the success rate, Shintaro confidently replies “100%”, which surprises the boy.
The boy eventually bursts out laughing, but continues by saying that he would believe Shintaro since he had a lot of confidence. He also mentions that there would be a chance for Shintaro to get free: the terrorists would make another announcement to the police force soon, and then there would be a chance for Shintaro to act.

Shintaro was skeptical, but shortly after, the terrorists did indeed decide to make another announcement, hastening the time to just 10 minutes, and threatening to drop bombs all over the place, including the city, if the money failed to be handed to them on time. Realising that his family (his mom and little sis) would get killed as well, Shintaro becomes agitated. The boy tries to calm him down by saying that it would be alright as there was still time, but Shintaro bursts out in anger. Obviously, that caught the attention of all the people in the building, and the terrorist head grabs him by the head, mocking his lack of bravery despite his outburst. While everyone around him worries for his safety (and the boy looking at him rather nonchalantly), Shintaro becomes irritated at the terrorists and bursts out again.

“IT’S BASTARDS LIKE YOU WHO SHOULD SPEND THEIR WHOLE LIVES LOCKED UP IN JAIL!!!”

“You sure are interesting……!” came an unknown voice. “Awesome!”

The goods and stuff around around the people begins to fall down one by one, scaring the terrorists. An uproar occurs, and the terrorist head realises that someone was hidng somewhere and hurling the stuff at them. While he was still shouting, a heavy shelf of goods behind him collapses on top of him, crushing him under. Suddenly, Shintaro’s hands were free from the sticky tapes (so is the boy), and the boy proclaims to him that the “chance” has been created, and that he should head out to do what he wanted to do, “I’m really anticipating your performance!”

Shintaro sets out, serious, ignoring the shouts from the terrorists threatening to shoot him nor the shouts from the civilians telling him that it’s dangerous. Shintaro rushes up to the control system, and connects it to his phone, “I’m leaving it all to you, Ene!”

And then we were treated with a beautifully epic page.

“Remember to bring me to the theme park once this is over!!”

Shintaro believed that he has won the battle.

Just then, a gun fires, and shoots him to his side.

Chapter 2, too, ends with a cliffhanger.

Well fans would know that the strange happenings in Chapter 2 (the falling stuff, and the terrorists being hit on his head) was all done by Kido, who had the ability to hiding something from people’s sight (“eye concealing” ability). Obviously, here, she hid her entire body, letting only Kano to see her; because of this, Kano was the only one aware that Kido had hit the terrorist on his head, and burst out laughing at the scene.

I was extremely awed by how the story was unfolding; my main aim at reading this manga is to see how the Kagerou Days plot would unfold (it still remains to be the most complex plot from the series), but looking at how the story began with just these two chapters, I’m excited to see this not just as the adaption of a Vocaloid series I really like, but as a standalone manga by itself. I can’t see how this manga wouldn’t sell, especially with all the variety of characters and special powers and sci-fi action and modern themes and etc etc etc……

And that’s the main reason why I can’t wait for the anime to come out. X3

Here’s to hoping that this is the opening theme for the anime:

This should be the OP, really, since this is like the theme song for the Blindfold Gang. X3

What I want to see at the end of Artificial Enemy, however, is if Shintaro will really delete Ene away, like what happened at the end of the song. Hopefully he doesn’t and the bond between the two seen during these two chapters showed that it was highly unlikely.

ACUTE:ReACT & And a not so typical Friday……

I got so inspired by those two songs from WhiteFlame that I decided to start working on a fan-fiction. Since Marg said that shorter stories are good, I’m thinking of writing one simple and short one, based off those two songs.

And, yeah. The two songs are ‘ACUTE’ and ‘ReACT’.

ReACT was released more recently, and even the translations aren’t really made yet. I’ve only found one which wasn’t very accurate, but was still able to bring the entire story out.

I had found ReACT on NicoSound in the Ranking portion which usually puts up links to the currently most popular songs. Everytime, you will at least find one VOCALOID song there, accompanied by either anime songs or visual novel theme songs.

So, well, I went to try out the song AND IT WAS FREAKIN EPIC OMG.

After fanning over the song for about two days, I found out that it was a SEQUEL. The prequel was, of course, ACUTE. Apparently, the intro tune in ReACT was from ACUTE, while the chorus was also based off it.

Nevertheless, the music were both AWESOMELY AMAZING, and so was the story.

And thus, I got inspired to write a fan-fiction.

I’d posted up the prologue for it, http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6887542/1/ACUTE_ReACT

Basically, I just plan to combine both stories and start with ReACT, with flashbacks to ACUTE. I mean, that’s the order I came to know the songs in, and it just felt natural to do it so.

Anyways, it would be best if I provided some videos which inspired me to write the story. :3

My favourite version of ACUTE, sung by 6 different non-professional singers. And they sing WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYY BETTER THAN REBECCA BLACK.

ReACT, the original version. Since it’s still pretty new, covers like the one above would take a little while… But it would most definitely go everywhere like its prequel.

Technically, ACUTE is visibly darker and more complex, while ReACT ends more lively and hopeful, WHICH INSPIRED ME. OMG I REALLY LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS AS LONG AS THEY ARE NOT CRAPPY. >:3

So yeah, gonna try writing out a fan-fic for this. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish this one.

Talking about Rebecca Black, thanks to that IN newspaper my school gives out, she became more infamous. And I can’t believe Ms Yong was actually convinced to play the video IN CLASS. OMG. When she asked me what was ‘Friday’ when the guys in the class began talking about it, I was like ‘It’s a video. You just need to search ‘friday’ on YouTube and you’ll find it.’ Okay, seriously, I meant the YT as a joke, but with a teacher right in front of you, a joke becomes less joke-like, and probably due to that she was convinced to search for the vid. -facepalms dramatically-

[JH should have stopped me then, seriously. Omg……]

…It was kinda my fault that our ears kenna polluted by her monotonous singing and bad taste of lyrics. Soweey~…

Well, anyways, today was kinda epic.

I was made to do a recording of a speech for convincing Sec 2s to take up lit. Well… it went longer than expected.

Originally, I felt that it would be okay with the script and all, until Mr Chua said,

“Let’s try it without the script.”

And I went “WTF?!?!?!” in my mind. =.=

So, that unexpected revelation of his plan took a while. Recorded like… 10+ videos. Majority were NG clips where I spoke too fast and stumbled. >.>

But, lol, Mr Chua tried to joke with me to lighten the mood, which did succeed, and strangely let me realise why he was a ‘good’ English teacher.

Throughout the thing he was giving me tips and suggestions, and got some water for my dry throat.
Also, I can’t believe how much paper I wasted. He just walked past this stack of majong papers and was like “Let’s use this” and tore a few out. And my reaction was like “Erh…… Are we allowed to do that…?”

Anyway, IT FELT AMAZING INSIDE THAT HIDDEN GREEN-SCREEN ROOM. LOOKED EPIC AND THE PLACE WAS FREAKIN SOUNDPROOF. THERE WAS A DRUM AND THE PLACE LOOKED AND FELT LIKE A REAL RECORDING STUDIO (and it actually is LOL) and I decided to be more open and told him, “I’m in IT club, actually, and this room was kinda ‘hidden’ for a few years………” But I’m the shy and quiet type when in ‘polite-mode’, so I tried not to talk too much. LOL

So well, recording went on for a bit. I felt like I should have tried for one more, but I was running late for RC, and had to leave. -still feels like she should have taken one more recording *headdesks*-

Anyway, went to RC in my school uniform as there was no time to change (was already 20 mins late). When I got there, my role as a senior was more amplified as the two Sec 3s there were at a slight loss at how to teach knots. I came over and helped, and I almost vomited blood. Maybe it was just my teaching method, but I tend to get a little irritated if the junior doesn’t learn well, before I calm down and remind myself that not everyone is a fast learner. -is a fast learner herself-

Anyways, managed to finish majority of the knots except one or two, and they went down for the FIRST PT IN MONTHS. WOOOOOTTS~~!!

Well, not that I did it, thanks to my uniform. I became the always-ever-useful-human-valuables-holder, and walked around the place as I practically slacked. And, well, the PT I/Cs ran too fast and a long row of cadets sat there as casualties.

Darn it, we need to work on their stamina. RC can’t be the weakest UG!! >:3

Well, as much as I’d like to talk about RC, there were some IT stuff that occurred too, and some other personal stuff.

This probably isn’t a safe place to say all of that — just in case the person in question happens over this blog — so I’m just gonna keep shut for a while.
But, anyways, I told Myra about what I was worried about, and she promised that she would help me check it out. What a nice girl. :3

…You know, often I feel like I belong more in IT. In RC, I just feel extra and not needed. Only in cases where I’m the only one who knows the subject at hand (like the knots tying and stuff earlier today) do people treat me more importantly. After that, I’m just extra. Sometimes when I talk, no one even hears it.

Okay, that part happens everytime, and I’ve learned to try and repeat my words. But many times I’d tried to say the same thing thrice or more and no one hears me. After that, I just give up on my topic and become a listener.

In IT, it is sometimes like that, but not always. At the very least, I know that I am able to properly communicate with everyone there, and they know how to take jokes and amplify them. It kinda makes me feel like I belong, and the fun and joy that I experience with them was certainly more closer than how I feel when I’m in RC. Well, not that I don’t joke with my RC people, but sometimes I don’t get into their conversation much. They see me, they smile, they say hi, and that’s the end of it. They turn to the others and talk, and I’m hinted to have been invited into the conversation, but most of the time I’m not in it.

Gosh, this post is getting long. Sorry for making all of you read my rants. LOL.

Maybe I should try what Sebastian does to his blog, adding colours and stuff. Maybe that would make it less boring.

Oh, are you sleep from reading all that already?

IT’S NOW OVER. YOU MAY WAKE UP.

Oh, which reminds me——

Okay okay, I’ll shut up now. 😛

The World God Only Knows x TENMON x minori…?

It was a pretty much surprise to see TENMON doing the new songs in episode 4 of the anime, namely the inserted song and the temporary ending theme.

Song title: Hajimete no Iro (First Colour)
Artist: Sakurai Tomo
Composer and Arranger: TENMON
Lyricist: Nobukazu Sakai

Song title: Tatta Ichido no Kiseki (Just One Miracle)
Artist: Sakurai Tomo
Composer and Arranger: TENMON
Lyricist: Nobukazu Sakai

I first found the music to be similar to TENMON’s style, a composer whom I really like due to his amazing works in Ef and eden*. And well, I was pretty much surprised to see him being the composer and arranger for both songs. The lyrics are, also, done by the chairman of minori, the company that did Ef and eden*. Another thing to note is that the singer of the opening theme, which was credited under ‘Oratorio The World God Only Knows’, is actually ELISA, the singer that did the opening themes for both seasons of Ef’s anime adaption. Her singing voice for English is quite unique, so I believe I didn’t make a wrong guess.

Well, this is only a little short notice about two new amazing songs from my favourite composer from a new autumn anime. ATT is still ongoing, don’t worry. ^^

ANIME, HERE I COME~!

EXAMS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER~~~!!!!! AHHHHHH~~~

Well, I will post up other stuff, such as my “Autumn Anime Thoughts” series after I finish catching up with all the anime. :3

Well, firstly, there is a picture done by my friend, Vilynn, of Lag Seeing from Tegami Bachi. Pretty awesome. >;3

Suteki~ Vil did it as a post-exam activity. LOL. How nice. (#^.^#)

Well, for me, I haven’t really done much… >.>
I actually wanted to make an alternate Nanoha Ending (no one has done that before, I know), with a TV sized track which I mixed recently. It’s a Touhou arranged song called “StarDust”, sung by Kushi. Well, the sad thing was that WMM kept hanging on me when I tried it yesterday. Same thing happened today, so I gave up on that idea. >.>

Well, too bad, I guess.

So, in celebration of the end of exams~ I shall put a VOCALOID Kagamine series done by Shuujin-P. It’s generally about a new project started by the United Nations, where the souls of humans is transferred into the bodies of robots. The order of the entire series is kinda not in order, but the most typically used fan order (which I find is correct) is gonna be the order I will put the video in.

The titles with the “Chapter 1” thing will still retain, so you will see just how messed up the order of the songs are. LOL.
The true order of the songs are up to debate, but I like this order better as it allows the Kagamine to have a happy ending in this series. ^^

So… Let’s begin.

#1:

第二章「理想郷」
Chapter 2: “Utopia”

Not my most favourite song from the series. It is kinda difficult to catch the tune here, and a pretty messed up rhythm as well… To me at least. However the story here is pretty epic. :3

I’ll give it a 6/10. ^^

#2:

第三章「一縷の願い」
Chapter 3: “A Faint Wish”

My favourite song out of the entire series. Had a pretty epic main melody to it, and the story here is also pretty nice as well. It also included scenes from Shuujin-P’s other works such as “Prisoner” and “Paper Plane”.

For the song and the also epic storyline, I’ll give it a 9/10. >:3

#3:

第一章「新世紀」
Chapter 1: “New Millenium”

The first song to be released, and the meaning of the song is kinda vague here. Generally, it talks about how difficult life really is, and the darkness of the world. It also brings about a sense of hope near the end, but at the same time, it seems like distant from real life.

Well, the fandom world is truly something else.

I’ll give this a nice 7/10. ;3

Alright, so… That’s it for the end of exam commemoration. I’ll be posting up my AAT series after I finish catching up with the anime and reply back to Flint… Apparently he sent me part two of his novel. Gotta read that~! >:3
